About Vicki

Hi! I'm Vicki, a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist based in Bishop's Stortford... and the person behind Strength & Simplicity

I didn’t plan to become a strength coach!

At 37, after having my son, I found myself frustrated.  I was sporty, busy, doing “all the right things”, but my body wasn’t changing and I didn’t feel like myself anymore

So I hired a PT

I learned how to lift properly. I followed a structured plan. I tracked my progress

And for the first time, I understood the difference between exercising… and training.  And that changed everything for me

Nine months later, I left the family business and qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2018

 

Since then, I’ve immersed myself in what actually creates lasting change: progressive strength training, simple nutrition, and the mindset required to stay consistent when life gets busy

I’ve completed two transformation shoots myself. I’ve followed strict plans so I don't ask anyone to do anything I've not done (or doing!) myself. I’ve also run bootcamps and invested heavily in education and built my own private strength gym from scratch

Because I don’t believe in guessing

Here’s what I know...

Most women in their 40s don’t need more motivation or another fresh start

They need structure
They need progression
They need a system that works around real life

That’s why I created Strength & Simplicity
